What is the opportunity?
Our hostel located in Porto, next to São Bento station, is looking for a receptionist (m/f) to join the hostel’s front of the house team.
You must be a “people” person, social and love our guest, so that you exceed guests’ expectations every day.
Someone with experience in the hospitality industry will be appreciated.

Who are we looking for?
Someone with:
• Experience as a hostel front of the house / receptionist (Preferred factor);
• Fluency in written and oral Portuguese and English. Knowledge of other languages will be valued.
• Ability to work with computers, PMS and POS systems.
• Good communication and stress management skills.
• Dynamism, pro-activity and being able to be autonomous.
• Responsible and punctual.
• Excellent planning and organization skills.
• Good problem analysis skills and attention to detail.
• Someone that likes teamwork and has good interpersonal skills.

Experience?
• Front of the House: minimum 1 year (Preferred factor).
• Professional experience in hostel / hotel will be valued.

Hi there, we are two enthusiastic travellers, Noa (female, Dutch, aged 20) and Rio (male, French/English, aged 21), both fluent in English and equipped with extensive experience in hospitality and volunteering. Currently, we are seeking full-time live-in employment in the hospitality sector from February onwards.

We are dedicated individuals with a strong work ethic, and we are also adaptable, open, and very sociable in our approach. Having navigated a variety of environments during our travels across Europe,, we are well-suited to a wide range of jobs within the hospitality industry.
